Katie's a Kutie and everyone Knows it, so a few thousand fans Kame down to the ZOO to sing along with a Sh*thook Serenade. Some of them are probably still going strong. Happy Birthday to You! ... See my Tabblo>
The Gigolos came to the ZOO to have a little party; and as usual, a crowd of their friends stopped by to help out. We had a big pig roast out at Marty and Rachael's place the night before, so I thought people might be a bit burned out. Nope! http://www.myspace.com/thetijuanagigolos ... See my Tabblo>
Lil' Ed and the boys were back in town to release their new CD, Full Tilt. They sure put on a full tilt show. The place was hoppin' from the first note to the last. As you can see by that old poster pasted up on the wall Ed has been rockin' the ZOO for awhile now, but we always love to have him back. If you missed the show, you better run right out and get a copy of the CD!!

Always a good time when BSOJC comes to town. These are some fine upstanding country gentlemen. Why a couple of them even helped old Deuce out by holding him up when he got a little too liquored up to stand up on his own. I'm just joshing of course. In reality, he was so high that they had to hold him down to keep him from floating away. I guess I pick on old Deuce too much, but he's a hell of a good guy and real fun to talk to. If there's nothing else going on, talking to Deuce is likely to keep you enteretained.
If you got a jones for some more BSOJC stuff you can check out their sites:

The Coopers from Lincoln
Some sweet music to soothe the savage beast, or maybe some savage sound to surprise your sweetheart. Local band livin' large with a new CD and everything. Definitely worth a listen.

Seems like damn near forever since I've seen the sun, but the rain finally stopped this morning. I'm happier than a daisy in a dewdrop.
Damn weathertrolls say that that the storms will be back, but I'm gonna enjoy it while I can.

This is an actual job application that a 75 year old senior citizen submitted to Walmart in Arkansas. They hired him because he was so funny.....
NAME: Kenneth Way (Grumpy Old Bastard)
SEX: Not lately, but I am looking for the right woman (or at least one who will cooperate)

EDUCATION: Yes.

MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT: My incredible collection of stolen pens and post-it notes.
REASON FOR LEAVING LAST JOB: It sucked.

MAY WE CONTACT YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER?: If I had one, would I be here?
DO YOU HAVE ANY PHYSICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT YOU FROM LIFTING UP TO 50 lbs.?: Of what?
DO YOU HAVE A CAR?: I think the more appropriate question here would be "Do you have a car that runs?"
HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY SPECIAL AWARDS OR RECOGNITION?: I may already be a winner of the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, so they tell me.
DO YOU SMOKE?: On the job - no! On my breaks - yes!
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS?: Living in the Bahamas with a fabulously wealthy dumb sexy blonde supermodel who thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread. Actually, I'd like to be doing that now.
NEAREST RELATIVE ....7 miles
DO YOU CERTIFY THAT THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE TO THE BEST OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE?: Oh yes, absolutely.
A large number of people in the Lincoln area went out Friday and Saturday last week to help Donnie celebrate his birthday. Ordinarily Donnie don't need no help to celebrate, but he seemed to appreciate the attention. Several large seismic events were observed in the vicinity of Barrymore's and at the ZOO Bar. No one is sure exactly when the festivities ended. They're probably still going on somewhere. ---gk
Columbia, Missouri's favorite sons came back to the ZOO for a couple of nights of great music. If you fooled around and missed it, shame on you!
